- Analytics or measurement technologies require an accurate description and consent/opt-out treatment where applicable.
- Advertising or cross-context tracking must not be introduced silently and requires separate legal/product review.
Consent integrity
A banner or preference center must reflect actual deployed technologies. Dark patterns, preselected non-essential consent where prohibited, and misleading descriptions are not acceptable. Withdrawal should be as practical as granting consent where law requires it.
